Electric vehicles are not only fun to drive, they are also easy on your wallet. We will be happy to advise you on how you can charge your electric car inexpensively, sustainably and conveniently at home with a powerful wallbox and work with you to find the right solution for your needs.
We will provide you with the right electricity tariff for your charging infrastructure as well as comprehensive advice for your wallbox.
Registration of a charging device
You have purchased an electric car and would like to charge it at home. Before installation, you must register or have your charging equipment approved.
Simply use our grid connection form.
Driving with electricity saves CO₂ and since 2022 has also been financially worthwhile for you as the owner of an e-car. Because we buy the so-called greenhouse gas reduction quota (GHG quota) from you. Simply register your e-car with us, transfer your GHG quota to Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH and we will pay you 275 euros/year.

E-filling stations
We operate a total of six public charging stations at five locations in the Eschwege municipal area with 12 charging points for your e-car, so that you can stay mobile at all times while on the road.

E-bike charging stations
Charge your e-bike battery conveniently during a stroll through town or your visit to the swimming pool. Charging facilities are available both at the tourist information office and at the espada leisure pool.
E-bike rental
You are a guest in Eschwege and do not have your own bike with you, or you just want to try out the fun of riding an e-bike?
In addition to various e-bike models, you can also rent classic trekking bikes and mountain bikes from our partners and explore the beautiful low mountain landscape around Eschwege with your rental bike.
