Temporary connection - fairground / events
The party is on! Whether at large events, such as the Johannisfest, or at small individual events, almost all organizers / showmen need electricity and / or water for a smooth operation on the festival site. We will gladly install a temporary connection for you.

Renting a standpipe / hydrant water metering system
If there is no other possibility for water supply in our water supply network, you can use our standpipes to draw water directly from the pipe network.
To protect the drinking water, only standpipes with a system separator are issued for our network area. The system separator prevents contaminated liquids from being pushed back, flowing back or being sucked back into the drinking water supply network.
Standpipes are only rented to expert companies. Otherwise, the standpipe must be connected by an employee of Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH.
How to rent a standpipe
In advance, please reserve a standpipe/hydrant meter system directly via our contact form. You will then receive the contract documents by e-mail. Please bring the signed contract with you when you pick up the standpipe or send it back to us in advance by e-mail.
Note: A deposit of 1500 € must be paid for the standpipe when you pick it up. You can transfer the deposit in advance (you will receive an invoice with the contract documents), issue a Sepa direct debit mandate with the contract or deposit it in cash when you pick up the standpipe.
The deposited deposit will be offset against the fees incurred as well as the rent. The fees for water consumption and for the installed water meter will be invoiced separately by the Eschwege water supply company or the respective water supplier in accordance with the water supply statutes. The discharge of wastewater into the sewer system of the district town of Eschwege or the respective municipality is not part of the contract. Dirty water charges are levied in accordance with the scale of charges of the district town of Eschwege or the respective municipality.
