How it all began
More than one hundred years of tradition characterize the Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH, whereby everything began in 1878 with the foundation of the gasworks. A few years later, a waterworks (1890) and an electricity plant (1906) were also founded in Eschwege - the basis of what are still the most important cornerstones of elementary utility services and, of course, of the offers and services of Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH.
